Michelle Reynoso, Author of EN – Book 1 of The Girl, the Pendant & the Portal series

As a teen growing up in NH, nationally-recognized author Michelle Reynoso juggled milking dairy goats by dawn, high school honors classes by day, and soliloquys on stage at night, and still she found time for two of her favorites passions – writing and reading. She’s been balancing her varied interests ever since. Much of that variety, and the early stories she read and wrote, are what inspire Michelle’s current projects and can be seen in her storylines, diverse characters, and richly creative fantasy worlds.

Michelle received national recognition after publishing her debut book Do You? when it placed as a finalist in the Writers' Digest International Self-Published Book Awards, the New York Book Festival, and the Global E-book Awards. Michelle’s newest book EN has already received advance praise from Kirkus Reviews, librarians, booksellers and fans alike. Michelle is a member of several writing and publishing organizations including the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), Wordsmith Studio, and the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA).

Currently living in NJ, Michelle divides her time between a professional business career, writing, her husband of twenty-plus years, her teenaged up-and-coming rapper son, diva cat, and a group of monster-sized goldfish.

Michelle Reynoso has twenty-five years of experience in business communications, technical writing, copy & content creation, and creative writing projects. She received national recognition when her debut book Do You? was a finalist in the Writers' Digest International Self-Published Book Awards, the New York Book Festival, and the Global e-book Awards.

Michelle is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), Wordsmith Studio, and the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA). Michelle Reynoso is a nationally-recognized, NJ author who has been crafting stories since the age of six. She credits her diverse experiences as a teen as inspiration for her young adult stories.

7 Fun Facts:

· Michelle grew up on a small farm raising goats, chickens, turkeys, pigs, cows, and even guinea hens!

· Want to know what she collects? Goats! Figurines, knickknacks, and anything promoting goats positively.

· Michelle went to New York City for the first time on her very first day of college. She’d never been to NY before that.

· When did she get her first cavity? In her forties. She still has only one.

· Michelle held a variety of jobs while in college including as a reader to the blind, greeting card assembler, recreation floor desk attendant, and overnight mail stuffer.

· What is her secret addiction? Ice! You can find her chomping ice from a glass or freezing a bottle of water and then breaking it apart for ice chips. It drives her family nuts!

· Michelle met her husband at a deli, and on their first date they both arrived an hour late. Thinking they’d blown it, either one could have turned around, but instead they both arrived within the same minute. Now they’ve been together for over twenty years. It was fate!
